Grosvenor’s Board of Directors are pleased to announce the appointment of Graham Hindley to the role of Chief Operating Officer. Grosvenor is one of Australia’s fastest growing engineering companies. Graham’s appointment is fundamental to Grosvenor’s efforts to maintain its double-digit growth trajectory underpinned by its pro-active data-led approach to technical asset management.

Prior to joining Grosvenor in 2016, Graham, a qualified engineer, industrial relations and commerce professional had spent the previous 20 years in senior management roles in Sydney, Malaysia, China and Germany for world-class engineering and manufacturing companies.

Nicholas Lianos, Managing Director at Grosvenor Engineering Group comments:

“As General Manager – NSW & ACT in the last three years, Graham has a proven track record in improving profitability and leading safe and efficient operations across our New South Wales and ACT regions. During Graham’s tenure, net earnings in these regions have increased by 118 per cent, with regional net earnings increasing nine-fold. Most importantly this growth has occurred without losing our customer-first focus or diluting our data intensive approach to asset management. Graham’s operational expertise and people skills are vital as we continue to transition our tradespeople and engineers to become true knowledge workers via integration of emerging property technologies (PropTech) and Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) in our day to day operations.”

Graham’s inclusive and consultative leadership style supported by a work ethos characterized by discipline and determination will help take our business to the next level. He has an ability to foster Grosvenor’s growth strategies, whilst delivering results for our customers.”

Graham’s key responsibilities include: Evolving our organizational management practices nationally; Contributing and supporting strategic decision making; Scaling up and enforcing robust operational controls and systems; Increasing operational efficiency and working with our MD and Board in our quest to diversify Grosvenor’s management team and to create growth opportunities for our employees.

Graham said: “My strategy implementation experience combined with people management expertise across diverse industries including manufacturing, precision engineering, engineering services, medical devices and robotics and automation will be used to further empower our staff, enhance business efficiencies and our customer focus. I look forward to working with our Board and MD to drive operational excellence and consistency of service delivery. My international experience working across culturally diverse environments will also be used to build on Grosvenor’s efforts to date to foster a safe, inclusive and empowering work environment.”

Graham concluded, “Sir Alex Ferguson (Manchester United’s Coach 1986 – 2013) quote – ‘My job was to make everyone understand that the impossible was possible’ has always resonated with me.”
